The 16th annual FlexoTech Awards was held in London on 23 October where 400 industry professionals from around the world came together to celebrate the best in flexo print and innovation.
The night was hosted by England rugby star Will Greenwood who entertained the guests and then presented the awards to the lucky winners. A total of 15 awards were presented including a Supreme Award, the winner of winners.
The international panel of judges, which included Sante Conselvan, chairman of Atif and FTA board member, was impressed with the overall high quality of entries and particularly remarked on how they are no longer seeing poor quality jobs as were occasionally the case in years past. They said, ‘The effects of digital platemaking, sophisticated repro and artwork systems are today enabling all companies to achieve very high quality levels. The time has now arrived whereby the flexo industry can dictate its own specifications to designers and photographers, enabling even greater quality advances to be made.’
